docbones (4:45:21)
Hi Everyone

docbones (4:45:38)
Am I in the natural world room?

catherine39 (4:45:42)
Hey Eileen :-)

dwitko44 (4:45:46)
You are!

docbones (4:45:55)
OH, WHEW GOOD

catherine39 (4:45:58)
lol

docbones (4:46:04)
Well, shall we get started?

docbones (4:46:22)
I'd like you to look at the doctrine of signature on the ocotillo and
tell me what it looks like to you or what it reminds you of?

docbones (4:46:50)
You can look at afar and say it reminds me of: and you fill in the blank

docbones (4:47:02)
I'm assuming everyone saw the jpegs of it? Yes?

jlaidlaw84751 (4:47:06)
Candyfloss ;-))

docbones (4:47:17)
What is candy floss to you? What is it?

docbones (4:47:51)
Hey, there's 13 people in this room. Surely one of you can speak? yes?

marianne42 (4:47:55)
can we see the ocotillo - image again?

docbones (4:48:06)
How about an octopus?

docbones (4:48:19)
Or a many-armed or many legged "thing?"

jlaidlaw84751 (4:48:23)
Just the shape as the flower comes out of the stem. Its a gooey pink mass of stuff they swirl around a stick at carnivals/fairs/etc. So it looked playful to me.

docbones (4:48:40)
Okay, so there's a child likeness of it for you, Joyce

docbones (4:48:49)
Playful?

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (4:48:53)
this orange colour attracts me

Lori45 (4:48:56)
When I first saw it, it reminded me of a paintbrush.

docbones (4:49:07)
oh good, I like the paintbrush idea

Lori45 (4:49:12)
Actually, many paintbrushes

docbones (4:49:17)
orange means what to you ade?

chantal55 (4:49:27)
I think it looks like a paintbrush too

docbones (4:49:28)
so what does paintbrush mean to you, Lori?

Lori45 (4:49:33)
creativity

docbones (4:49:45)
Yep, ocotillo has a lot of "fire" of creativity to it

vic53 (4:49:45)
I think it looks like fire

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (4:49:59)
orange is beautiful, light colour

docbones (4:50:05)
In 2 provers, creativity was heightened

catherine39 (4:50:14)
I see it as a bit contradictory. The flower is attractive and calls me but the stem slows me down

docbones (4:50:15)
orange is the color of what chakra? anyone?

chantal55 (4:50:22)
Is there a 3rd chakra connection

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (4:50:24)
second

docbones (4:50:28)
That stem would slow anyone down, haha

dwitko44 (4:50:28)
Sacral

catherine39 (4:50:28)
2

vic53 (4:50:37)
It reminds me of a plant I once saw on an Australian calendar....does it grow in Australia?

docbones (4:50:48)
yes, it's sacral, the second chakra
and this is definitely a 2nd chakra plant and it proved it out in the provings

chantal55 (4:50:57)
Sorry that was 2nd chakra

docbones (4:51:01)
What does 2nd chakra mean?

docbones (4:51:29)
you think I'm doing all the work here? haha

catherine39 (4:51:30)
Female sexual, security,

araven79148 (4:51:31)
its the sexual chakra???

marianne42 (4:51:37)
this flower scares me, didn't' find out why yet

Astrotwo37 (4:51:41)
creativity, desire, procreation

docbones (4:51:45)
sex, drugs and rock 'n roll to put it succinctly

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (4:51:49)
sexual

chantal55 (4:52:02)
Creativity , your will, sex

docbones (4:52:05)
also, victim and being co-dependent for women, sexual reproductive organs which sit in the abdomen or 2nd
chakra

docbones (4:52:10)
chantal, right!

jlaidlaw84751 (4:52:31)
2nd: water element, fluidity, relationship

docbones (4:52:31)
Can anyone tell me how an ocotillo person thinks?

chantal55 (4:52:31)
how about vitality

Lori45 (4:52:57)
guarded...don't know that for sure, but it just came out

docbones (4:52:59)
yes, fluids, for sure and this is a desert plant, so you have water issues. water equals emotions. how do you think the ocotillo person's emotions are doing?

docbones (4:53:22)
vitality; definitely
I say of ocotillo--she/he is going Mach three with their hair on fire

dmcdonald51958 (4:53:27)
very defensive

chantal55 (4:53:28)
Probably suppressed

docbones (4:53:35)
guarded because of what? What tells you that by looking at it?

cbwillis60 (4:53:38)
irritable

Lori45 (4:53:40)
the stem

ozjas57 (4:53:43)
held in rigid in lower aspects of body

Lori45 (4:53:45)
like a fortress

docbones (4:53:46)
chantal...yes, water is conserved in a desert plant

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (4:53:47)
I guess it is a feminine thing, sexual creativity, not so much
thinking....

smiling59 (4:54:04)
with the yellow bursting forth at the end it looks to me like this plant would help the transition and blending into the 2nd solar plexus chakra. It also looks like it can withstand harshness as well a nurturing from the looks of the sparse ground around it. It might even be good for loners. It also reminds of the crown of thorns plant. With the prickles and spines it feels like it could also defend itself or bite back with a quick temper.

docbones (4:54:17)
yes, ade, the creativity--more specifically, KUNDALINI, is very
pronounced in a person who drinks Ocotillo essence

chantal55 (4:54:32)
I just looked at it again and it definitely looks like hair on fire

docbones (4:54:36)
smiling, nice analogies

docbones (4:55:05)
provers who drank this water had direct spontaneous kundalini experiences, usually warm moving quickly up their spine after drinking the mother essence water. It was amazing

chantal55 (4:55:26)
So this plant could unblock creativity

marianne42 (4:55:32)
could you tell a

docbones (4:55:37)
Stamens are LONG. If you haven't taken my seminar, it wouldn't mean anything to you, but the stamens are outside the capsul of the flower meaning they are a space cadet

marianne42 (4:55:51)
little bit more about kundalini, Eileen?

docbones (4:55:52)
yes, ocotillo powers on through to release blocks stopping our own creativity

ozjas57 (4:56:03)
could it open someone too soon energetically

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (4:56:04)
There is a difference between stem and flower, prickly and soft

docbones (4:56:18)
Our provers had warmth up the spinal column, a headiness, and spaciness connected with a positive kundalini experience

chantal55 (4:56:32)
Would we have to be cautious taking this essence

docbones (4:56:36)
good question, ozjas...possibly it could. Maybe on someone who was mentally unstable would be my focus

docbones (4:57:05)
not unless you were mental imbalanced or on some kind of mind/mood altering drugs if you were schizophrenic, I wouldn't use it

smiling59 (4:57:11)
if this is good for blocked energy and moving kundalini energy is that why the relief of the back pain because it removes blockages and
releases qi

docbones (4:57:28)
That's right--you hit the nail on the head....congratulations! :-)

jlaidlaw84751 (4:57:38)
A kundalini experience usually has 2 or more of: seeing light, energy/heat rushing up the spine or sounds of bells/bees/etc. This must be accompanied with mystical experiences or spontaneous sexual experiences. Just energy moving is a pranic experience.

docbones (4:57:38)
I have a story to tell you--in blocks of print--so be patient

juanca61 (4:57:42)
But ,how do you control a negative kundalini experience?

docbones (4:58:09)
these folks had sexual feelings (nice ones) plus the movement of heat up their spines

ozjas57 (4:58:33)
you need to know how to ground them and shut their energy field down quickly

docbones (4:58:37)
You don't ha ha
that requires a lot of yogic intercession and retraining to do the undoing of a wrong-way kundalini energy

docbones (4:58:48)
ozjas, yes

jlaidlaw84751 (4:59:00)
Ok, we need to see light or hear sounds. So it got the prana moving. We need lots of prana to get the kundalini to release; it is an important first step.

docbones (4:59:22)
We had one of our provers, a student, take the mother essence of ocotillo. She was so impressed with it, she took it home to her husband to try

docbones (4:59:44)
the husband had a 30 year old sacral spinal problem and been to every pain clinic in the usa and had no relief from the pain

docbones (5:00:07)
she gave him the Ocotillo essence--stock bottle type only---4 drops under the tongue 4 times a day and within the first day the pain was reduced by 50%

docbones (5:00:20)
the next day, the pain was gone and remained away. He was stunned. I was shocked

docbones (5:00:41)
It shows me the power of ocotillo to influence our central nervous system--not just motor, but sensory also

docbones (5:00:54)
If you look at the stems they remind me of a spinal column

docbones (5:01:24)
the thorns coming off the stem reminds me of the nerves coming off the spinal column between the vertebrae

ozjas57 (5:01:24)
so therefore the remedy helps break tribal patterning

docbones (5:01:37)
I felt, by looking at the DOS that ocotillo would have significant help in back related problems

jlaidlaw84751 (5:01:49)
That's what I saw

chantal55 (5:01:59)
Would this be just lower back

cbwillis60 (5:02:02)
the flower looks like a spinal column exaggerated

docbones (5:02:09)
Tribal patterning? Can you say more about this? That's usually a first chakra thing. Ocotillo is a 2nd chakra flower

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (5:02:21)
I out of words, because by looking at the flower I had an experience of energy from my vagina up to my fingers. I have the flower essence now in my house, when I touched the bottle, the same thing happened. I understand now it is kundalini energy.

docbones (5:02:25)
Ocotillo has helped people with back problems from cervicles down to tailbone

smile70 (5:02:28)
I missed some this keeps logging me out every time I look at the picture. Was the main blockage muscular? What if someone had a bilateral fracture of L5 with impingement of the ganglion and the sacrum was displaced to be almost horizontal. Could this remedy assist getting the bones realigned?

docbones (5:02:44)
I would say, though, because it is an orange color, the lower back would be its strongest area of focus

chantal55 (5:03:06)
Would it help to hold spinal adjustments

docbones (5:03:09)
Smile I don't know. I know that this guy had nerve pain.

docbones (5:03:49)
I know that I take ocotillo when I feel my back is out of alignment and within minutes, the errant vertebrae will move back into place--not always--but a good portion of the time

jlaidlaw84751 (5:03:54)
Even though it looks like a tough stem; somehow it looks like a brittle spine

Astrotwo37 (5:04:03)
Does the fact that it is orange and white indicate it can help raise the kundalini to the head chakra?

docbones (5:04:09)
I would think it could, Chantal. Again, I have anecdotal proof of this only

ozjas57 (5:04:09)
I find people with lower back problems are still locked into how they are in this world and is tied in with second in then how this relates to their interaction with others and of course their own sexuality again how others think or their say religious background

docbones (5:04:25)
The spine is NOT brittle. It's tougher than sin. It bends but won't break

chantal55 (5:04:38)
it looks like the plant has a lot of open space between flowers therefore maybe helps open the flow of energy in between vertebrae

marianne42 (5:04:39)
what if one feels the lower back pain has to do with feelings of loneliness, or with feelings of despair?

docbones (5:04:41)
Ozjas, I would agree fully with you

smile70 (5:05:09)
did the provers feel like being alone?

docbones (5:05:33)
2nd chakra is learning to break away from the tribe in the 1st chakra and to be more on their own--this is where the loneliness may come in--being on their own and not the support of the community as much

docbones (5:05:47)
There was only 1 prover of 8 who wanted to be left alone

docbones (5:06:15)
Interestingly, 1 had an anxiety attack (the one who wanted to be left alone) and in another prover, it stopped her anxiety attacks

smile70 (5:06:25)
what emotional tendencies did they express

docbones (5:06:38)
Two people felt calmer taking it.....less nerves and stress....so it brought them down and smoothed them out

docbones (5:07:09)
One had anger

ozjas57 (5:07:09)
maybe their wanting to be left alone is being ok about separation, whereas for most people being separate from the pack causes fear and anxiety

docbones (5:07:10)
1 stopped being co-dependent

docbones (5:07:30)
3 had creativity improve and in 1, it lessened

docbones (5:07:45)
there was more crying--releasing of tears over old deaths (animals and people)

docbones (5:08:03)
so, it helps in releasing withheld "water"/emotions in a person--much like Nat mur, I suspect

cbwillis60 (5:08:05)
sounds like a general freeing up of the flow of energy in the system

catherine39 (5:08:16)
Over what course of time did you track these changes in people, Eileen?

docbones (5:08:22)
other emotions were of an empty feeling in 1 person, and another felt stronger

jlaidlaw84751 (5:08:28)
in the one who's creativity lessened, did other things improve for her.
I know with some homeopathic cases, people are cured of things and their
psychic skills can lessen/disappear because they are coming from a place
of imbalance

smile70 (5:08:34)
sounds like a sycotic miasm to me I agree with the natrum tendency

docbones (5:08:35)
2 felt improved grounding, 1 less so

docbones (5:08:51)
1 felt it stopped immature behaviour
1 had feelings of inadequacy

docbones (5:09:05)
2 became very annoyed
and in another it stopped irritability

juanca61 (5:09:15)
Can the essence deal with a interferent field in the lumbar
zone,ie:scars?

docbones (5:09:38)
Juanca I don't know, never had a case where it was tried to say one way
or another

dwitko62 (5:09:47)
Just so everyone knows - Ocotillo was proved in the Hahnemannian way?
I.e. a proving, but of a Flower Essence?

docbones (5:10:21)
yes, it's a flower essence. It was NOT succussed and NOT potentized.
Just petals in water for an hour in sunlight

docbones (5:10:41)
a big area to think about Ocotillo is with joints and extremities.

ozjas57 (5:10:56)
flowers have a great way of balancing and self adjusting

smile70 (5:11:02)
did they have sticking pains haha

docbones (5:11:13)
A woman who had severe carpal tunnel--both wrists--used it and 75% of
her pain went away and she avoided surgery

docbones (5:11:24)
smile, hah a no

docbones (5:11:38)
people with arthritis can really use this essence

docbones (5:11:56)
For instance, arthritis in the hips

chantal55 (5:11:56)
About joints tell us about the signature involving that

jlaidlaw84751 (5:12:07)
sure looks like the flowers are reaching for the stars! But almost in
an overextending way.

Sindy68 (5:12:31)
This might work well for dysplasia in dogs....

ozjas57 (5:12:31)
yes when I first saw the flower that the first thing that came in, do
any of the provers feel they were rigid in their thinking or patterns

marianne42 (5:12:35)
in the cases mentioned, was ocotillo also used as an essence, or
potentised?

docbones (5:12:45)
The flower "head" of this plant is very large, but considering the stems
are between 5-20 feet n length, they aren't out of bounds

chantal55 (5:12:55)
can you give us more specifics on the signature

docbones (5:13:44)
I didn't get much stubbornness in the people in the proving; more
movement, flowing, instead. If you watch this plant it moves easily in
the wind, which indicates flexibility and not rigidity

docbones (5:14:09)
but, you'd have to see it in order to understand that about its
nature--which is why we have to truly observe a plant from seed to death
to understand it underpinnings

docbones (5:14:47)
Ocotillo grows from 3 to 5,000 feet in rocky, hard, clay/sandy soil base

ozjas57 (5:14:48)
so then it would be more about holding in old wounds and hurts

docbones (5:14:50)
It can survive on 3-4 inches of water in a year which indicates its
ability to survive

smile70 (5:14:50)
That would be a good thing with kundalini rising. One would be better
off flexible

dwitko62 (5:14:50)
In the web pages posted it mentions Stage 3. What is this?

docbones (5:15:03)
Further, it's "skin" is so special that it holds the water inside

docbones (5:15:35)
ozjas, yes, I believe it has a very strong target area of OLD anything.
A number of our provers really let go with the tears, crying, and
remembering old deaths, hurts and experiences

docbones (5:15:52)
Yes, being flexible helps the Kundalini rise more easily

Lori45 (5:16:11)
water retention ailments?

smile70 (5:16:32)
since it holds onto water so easily do you feel this would be a good
plant for edema?

docbones (5:16:33)
ocotillo people are sand people soil wise. And ocotillo does best in
sand and not clay. If it gets into too much clay, it gets root rot and
dies

docbones (5:16:47)
yes, edema of all kinds, I believe, will respond to ocotillo

docbones (5:17:12)
the ovary in ocotillo is superior, so the people who need this are
extroverts

docbones (5:17:30)
ocotillo becomes semi-dormant during the hot, dry summer

chantal55 (5:17:45)
would you get a response if a person has a physical ailment causing the
edema

docbones (5:18:01)
I find this a phenomenal thing about it--it just SHUTS DOWN-dormant do
we know people like that who don't get enough water? enough emotions,
and they shut down and just "go away"???

smile70 (5:18:06)
keep going more DOS please

docbones (5:18:18)
chantal, I'm sure you would

chantal55 (5:18:41)
yes more DOS please

docbones (5:18:53)
also, ocotillo grows in GROUPS, so this person likes company. They're
extrovert. They're "out there", spacey, not too well grounded

dwitko62 (5:19:12)
what kind of roots does it have?

docbones (5:19:15)
It is distantly related to the primrose and olive families, by the way
NOT the cactus family!!

jlaidlaw84751 (5:19:19)
do you mean by not enough emotions drama queens/kings who need lots of
excitement to keep them going?

Astrotwo37 (5:19:21)
So would this help a manic/depressive type? Often in the depressive
state, they just shut down and go away?

docbones (5:19:31)
the roots are round and SHALLOW. A strong wind could blow over a plant!

docbones (5:20:07)
And I find this very interesting because most desert plants have a
taproot (like a carrot) system. For ocotillo to have a round shallow
root system is extraordinary and tells you how well it stores water in
the stems of itself.

catherine39 (5:20:21)
The plant doesn't resist the wind, it bends with it - helps those who
are rigid be more flexible

smile70 (5:20:25)
sounds like they like to put on appearances to hide the inner self
perhaps

docbones (5:20:38)
Yes, Astro, ocotillo should be on a list to be considered for this.
Also, what about anyone who is "emotionally" dry? Emotionless? What
about autism?

ozjas57 (5:20:42)
so they can't tap into the mothers energy of earth for balance and
alignment

jlaidlaw84751 (5:20:45)
shallow roots: I think this is why I felt by the look of it this plant
could easily overextend itself -- top heavy/growing too fast

chantal55 (5:20:49)
So if a person exhibited some of the symptoms but was pretty grounded
would this flower be recommended or some other

docbones (5:21:00)
catherine, right you are--it makes us more flexible--we can bend with
the winds of change :-)

docbones (5:21:08)
ozjas, not by much, no

chantal55 (5:21:20)
So this would be a good flower for fixed signs

docbones (5:21:20)
no it only grows a few inches in good rain years

docbones (5:21:45)
Ocotillo is a very slow grower. The round roots grow out first to keep
it stable and balanced long before the tentacles or arms/stems start
growing up to 20 feet

smile70 (5:22:05)
how long does this live to get to 20 foot

Astrotwo37 (5:22:14)
so, it must have tremendous longevity since it grows so slowly but gets
very big?

docbones (5:22:15)
a five foot ocotillo can be 50 years old, I think....it's very slow
grower...but I got to check my memory on that one--so don't take this a
gospel

docbones (5:23:02)
It can be 50 to 100 years old. I believe, if my memory is right, 20
feet is 30 years old, or something like that.

docbones (5:23:08)
let's see...hold on

docbones (5:23:27)
a mature plant can grow 2 feet in a good rain year

smile70 (5:23:30)
when opening up the nurturing energies, did you find another flower
essence followed this one well?

juanca61 (5:23:32)
Recommendations on pregnant patients!

docbones (5:23:38)
but that's dramatic and doesn't usually happen

docbones (5:23:57)
smile, no, haven't got any experience with it following another, sorry

ozjas57 (5:23:59)
I find that most of the autistic kids I work with are extremely
sensitive not in their body and overwhelmed by the world, I would be a
bit worried to blast them back out

smile70 (5:24:12)
pregnant ladies do not need to move kundalini

marianne42 (5:24:14)
when I look at the plant, it looks to me as if the flower doesn't'
belong to the stems. Much like a coloured photo placed on a
black-and-white stem, what can you say about that, isn't this important?

docbones (5:24:21)
juanca on pregnancy--I have nothing to share because no one has tried it
that was pregnant. Sorry

adebruijnpraktijkhomeopathie84552 (5:24:47)
I feel the same as Marianne

docbones (5:24:52)
Smile, I agree, but I'm always super cautious when a woman is pregnant.
Many times, I will have her HOLD the remedy or essence to see if she
gets a response to it

Astrotwo37 (5:25:02)
sounds like this could help people who have no water in their chart

docbones (5:25:36)
Ah, here it is (I'm looking thru my notes) It takes 10 to 15 years to
produce a 5 foot plant...that's gospel :-)

smile70 (5:25:52)
if the stem is b/w did the people have the same type of outlook mentally?

docbones (5:26:02)
astrol--yes, definitely! or maybe too much--like a Moon with hard
aspects or planets in Cancer

Lori45 (5:26:08)
Marianne's question...is there a dual nature?

docbones (5:26:30)
Another thing ocotillo did was to help 2 of the provers look more fondly
and with more love toward their children....

docbones (5:27:02)
I think that's a big one--with child abuse, and adults who have been
abused hitting their kids, ocotillo might help stop this behaviour and
help the parents respond to their children more lovingly

smile70 (5:27:20)
kind of like sepia

docbones (5:27:25)
One person got more clairvoyant and had an out of the body experiences
with it

docbones (5:28:00)
Another thing ocotillo did was to help provers create stronger
boundaries--of course you look at those thorny arms and whose going to
stand in their way? haha

Astrotwo37 (5:28:16)
on the other hand, since it relates to sacral center, it may also help
parents who try to control their adult children or enable them to free
up their children

docbones (5:28:46)
I thought this was neat--a lot of cravings involved with
ocotillo....craving citrus fruits, lemon juice, pineapple juice, salt
and soy sauce....all salty things or acids

chantal55 (5:29:12)
salty things because of the water element but sweet????

docbones (5:29:18)
Because of the special abilities of Ocotillo's skin it helped one
person's dermatitis that they had

smile70 (5:29:25)
that's back to kidney water imbalance

docbones (5:29:30)
acids and salt, chantal

docbones (5:30:06)
yeah, smile, it is and when you consider the kidneys push the water, I
think ocotillo long term, might be good for strengthening them, too--but
this is conjecture on my part

ozjas57 (5:30:15)
arthritis is usually too much acid

docbones (5:30:24)
ozjas, right you are! :-)

smile70 (5:30:44)
since it helps with edema that's pushing the water to. How about the
fear element?

juanca61 (5:30:59)
Uses in terminal patients?

docbones (5:31:07)
Ocotillo had some interesting stuff with ears--draining sensation felt,
another person had an earache, and another's ear was more
sensitive--might be good for otitis media?

ozjas57 (5:31:48)
or using your inner hearing, intuition

docbones (5:31:51)
You talk about fears....there were LOTS of dreams with ocotillo--many of
them about death, or they were disturbing, getting cancer, a hooded
figure,

docbones (5:32:09)
Juanca, on terminal patients? I don't know. Possibly

docbones (5:32:38)
Now, on the topic of energy--remember we said it looked like it was
moving fast with those bright orange flowers?

jlaidlaw84751 (5:32:45)
What made you ask that Juanca, interested in what you saw in the plant
that triggered that question.

docbones (5:32:51)
In the proving, energy was less in 3 and more in 3

chantal55 (5:32:54)
sounds like it might be good for fluid imbalance in the ear

docbones (5:33:48)
Chantal, yes, that's my thought. But Ocotillo seems to have a very
decisive and quick effect on the water in a person's body, period. I
wonder in head injuries if this might be good for reducing fluids in the
brain, thereby reducing the possibility

smile70 (5:33:53)
moving fast is countered with slow growing perhaps balance again as one
feels their way through life but forget so they get spacey again

docbones (5:33:55)
of more massive head trauma in the long run?

jlaidlaw84751 (5:34:09)
For those who's energy was less, did they need to have their energy
toned down, and those with more, did this balance things out?

docbones (5:34:45)
Eyes were another area where Ocotillo affected people. Burning eyes,
hot eyes, the sun was too bright for them, stabbing pain in the right
eye, spots before eyes
how about in glaucoma where the fluid levels are squirrelly?

chantal55 (5:34:47)
back to the ear did anyone have balance problems or sensations

smile70 (5:34:54)
good ? jlaidlaw what about the other two provers remain the same?

docbones (5:35:12)
chantal, no balance problems were reported with the ear sx's

ozjas57 (5:35:22)
yes if they are extroverted problems with adrenals so can be hyper
energy or exhausted

marianne42 (5:35:53)
I don' t see any logic in photophobia with this plant, reaching for the
sun??

docbones (5:36:00)
Joyce, on the energy. two people first reported LESS energy, but then,
after they continued to take it, they got MORE energy as a result

docbones (5:36:26)
Also, one prover had incontinence

ozjas57 (5:36:55)
what about people with allergies, fluid build up and I find them usually
very spacey

juanca61 (5:36:59)
Any recommendation with hypertensive patients ?

docbones (5:36:59)
Joint inflammation was reduced, less stiffness in joints and wrist
movement improved were reported by 3 different provers

docbones (5:37:15)
ozjas, really? I hadn't connected that one.

docbones (5:38:14)
no recommendation on people with high blood pressure because I had no
one in the group who had it when they proved it. I would THINK that
Ocotillo would be a great hbp equalizer, though. Look how it's
stems/limbs/arms shoot upward

docbones (5:38:32)
One prover felt pressure n the right kidney, as well as a throbbing
sensation

ozjas57 (5:38:40)
find them with lots of joint problems, exhaustion and not grounded, some
are extroverted, out there people

docbones (5:38:44)
In another, an old fracture was addressed

chantal55 (5:39:10)
don't get the connection with hbp and the stems shooting upward

docbones (5:39:23)
ankles were a particular area for Ocotillo to work on
pressure in right one, swelling, throbbing in the right one, weakness
felt in

jlaidlaw84751 (5:39:45)
Need to go. Goodnight and thanks to all who shared!

docbones (5:40:06)
Oh, the way ocotillo looks from a distance is shooting up like fireworks
display....that to me always indicates a swift uptake or movement of
something...in this case blood pressure is a possibility due to the DOS
of the plant

docbones (5:40:13)
nite Joyce

docbones (5:41:09)
mentally, one person felt more clear
another felt weak
and a third felt mental faculties slowing down (although he needed a
reprieve from all the mind work he does)

docbones (5:41:21)
There was pressure in the sinuses, also, pressure and throbbing by 1
prover

smile70 (5:41:36)
I felt it looked like firecrackers. It would make sense to me to have
bursts of energy with orange and yellow

rosawood82 (5:41:59)
How do I do that?

docbones (5:42:01)
There was shoulder problems, pain from neck extending to the shoulder,
left shoulder and she felt stronger after taking the Ocotillo and these
sx's went away

docbones (5:42:12)
smile, I like your analogy. Yes

docbones (5:42:49)
This also might be good for insomnia. Prove3rs fought to stay awake
during normal hours. They had improved sleep, or reported sleeping
well. Another wanted more sleep, but didn't do it.

smile70 (5:43:15)
the flower also looks like little trumpets. Did they blow their horns
haha

docbones (5:43:26)
The appetite was
lack of one, worse eating fat, sense of fullness and hadn't eaten

Astrotwo37 (5:43:47)
Smile, I thought fireworks also - 4th of July - had a certain aura of
freedom

docbones (5:43:47)
smile, haha, yeah, I'd say they'd have no problem telling you what they
did well or right -)

docbones (5:44:13)
I'm struck by the spines of the plant looking like long nerves

docbones (5:44:27)
and interesting enough--get this--the stem is EIGHT sided!!!

docbones (5:44:47)
And, the stem has 4 red/maroon colored vertical stripes running the
entire length of each stem!

ozjas57 (5:44:58)
infinity

chantal55 (5:45:15)
what is the signature of these red stripes

docbones (5:45:16)
I feet this reinforces the idea of the spinal column, the circulation
along it, as well as potential kundalini activation

docbones (5:45:31)
red stands for blood, energy, stimulation and circulation

smile70 (5:45:55)
infinity with balance of heaven and earth with the nourishing red
sensual energy running up the length no wonder kundalini expressed

docbones (5:45:55)
moving up and down the stem would say it definitely increases all those
things along the spinal column or potentially, the nerves

docbones (5:46:07)
smile, right on :-)

docbones (5:46:23)
how about those 8 sides....anyone familiar with the number 8 and what it
means?

smile70 (5:46:46)
this also sound like this would be similar to hypericum. even a kali phos

ozjas57 (5:46:50)
it's infinity isn't it?

docbones (5:46:54)
whoops--whoa--I'm sorry 5 sided not 8 sided

docbones (5:47:00)
erase the 8

docbones (5:47:09)
go to 5 and think about what the number 5 is about :-)

docbones (5:47:29)
Yes, hypericum and ocotillo, I think, might have a nice affinity with
one another

Astrotwo37 (5:47:36)
5 is restless, movement, travelling, learning

docbones (5:47:55)
The number 5 is about CREATIVITY. It is about the fulcrum point
between the lower charkas and upper ones

ozjas57 (5:48:04)
throat chakra, personal power

smile70 (5:48:07)
this reminds me of the animal kingdom of which we are a part. 4 limbs
and a head

chantal55 (5:48:07)
5 creative expression, truth

docbones (5:48:08)
astro--yep, you're right. I

docbones (5:49:06)
No one said they were restless in this proving BUT, they reported being
more patient and calming down....

smile70 (5:49:08)
astro great this sounds like a tub miasm as well can be found here

Astrotwo37 (5:49:17)
5 brings freedom after the experience of the 4

docbones (5:49:24)
I feel for chronic pain anywhere that involves the spine or joints,
ocotillo should be strongly considered

chantal55 (5:49:25)
would this give a 5th chakra connection also

docbones (5:50:27)
There was 'strength' with this proving..a rush of energy, a mental
feeling of being stronger, better in the morning, and also just plain
having more physical energy to utilize. How about chronic fatigue
people?

Lori45 (5:50:50)
Eileen, when you first mentioned nerves, I thought MS.

ozjas57 (5:51:02)
yes I think so, many of which have allergies as well

docbones (5:51:05)
Also, it addressed the tailbone, pain at the tip that radiates outward,
better with rest and worse with movement

docbones (5:51:18)
Lori, oh, yeah...duh....why didn't I think of that...right on :-)

cbwillis60 (5:51:23)
if chiro theory is right, so much disease derives from

cbwillis60 (5:51:34)
impingement on spine, then this flower is powerful

docbones (5:51:39)
sinus did play a part in the provings

docbones (5:51:49)
I carol :-)

ozjas57 (5:51:59)
isn't sinus unshed tears?

sokeysunny67 (5:52:06)
Restlessness with arthritic and joint pain would fit ? Creativeness may
be brought forward after joint pain erased.

docbones (5:52:16)
One person report "caffeine like "high"--so it can make you nervous, too

docbones (5:52:31)
sokey--yes, that sounds like a brilliant call :-)

smile70 (5:52:43)
was that person of less energy before?

docbones (5:52:55)
Other nose sx's were that it stops nose bleeds, and buzz sensation at
the base of the nose, on the right tip of it

docbones (5:53:33)
smile, what happened was when they first took the essence, their energy
went below their normal energy level. And then, in a few days, it
zoomed way beyond that and they were infused with lots of constant energy

cbwillis60 (5:53:45)
wow!

Astrotwo37 (5:54:04)
sounds like it broke the blocks on the energy -<
br />
docbones (5:54:11)
Weight gain--with menses, water retention was experienced, and water
weight wouldn't come off on one prover

docbones (5:54:22)
astro--yes, it does, doesn't it?

chantal55 (5:54:49)
maybe fired up the 2nd chakra orange is fire color

docbones (5:55:01)
another fascinating thing--desert plants, I love 'em! Water--they
wanted COLD water to drink, reported drinking a LOT more water, and also
had dreams of water running and it awakened one prover~!

cbwillis60 (5:55:34)
yellow and orange are prana-energy colors!

docbones (5:55:39)
So, for someone who was thirst less (and their kidneys always suffer
when this happens), ocotillo could get the person to drink more
water--especially citrus types of fluids and bulk up on the water they
need for their body

smile70 (5:55:54)
did we answer the question on what effect it had on whether the person
was balanced hyper or low if it had an effect. Then you answered some of
that. removing blocks is good how about the rush of energy then the
fatigue just before a birthing of a child

docbones (5:56:01)
Carol, yeah, definitely pranic :-)

cbwillis60 (5:56:07)
If someone was already hot and thirsty, would oco be a good essence for
them? or maybe the homeo version?

Astrotwo37 (5:56:34)
If the 2nd chakra relates to the 6th chakra (one the higher of the
other) how would this relate to the 6th chakra?

docbones (5:56:43)
smile, I don't know the answer to your question...the whole proving is
here on Dave's website--so you might go take a look and see

Astrotwo37 (5:57:40)
maybe, it helps open the 3rd eye?

docbones (5:57:41)
CB I think ocotillo is a thirstless kind of person to begin with and
they need more water.

smile70 (5:57:50)
a lot of other fe work on just the emotions. this one sounds like it is
already working as if it had been potenized

docbones (5:58:32)
The brow chakra? Well, 1 person was more clairvoyant. More spacey.
The brow is really tied big time to creativity as well, and ocotillo
spurred that in the provers

ozjas57 (5:58:49)
kundalini experiences are about opening up to higher visions and clearer
seeing which fits with 6th chakra

docbones (5:59:04)
Another interesting titbit: teeth grinding together, constant
inclination to do this during the proving MIGHT help bruxism

docbones (5:59:23)
Another was more urination

docbones (5:59:51)
Two people reported weakness
one was ameliorated muscle weakness and the other it just made them feel
weak (the male)

docbones (6:00:28)
Ocotillo has a lot of head symptoms an I've found with a flower that
shoots out like this from the top of the stem, head sx's are often part
of the DOS

docbones (6:00:37)
I think this should be looked at for migraines

docbones (6:01:35)
constriction sensation above right ear
forehead, left-sided, the temple, right sided above ear
pain buzzing sensation, sick headache, pressure in the forehead,
pressure in the temples, on top o the head, or temples with a tightening
sensation

ozjas57 (6:01:36)
hot migraines or hot and cold?

docbones (6:01:44)
with a tightening sensation

docbones (6:02:00)
No one said hot or cold, so I don't know

docbones (6:02:21)
there are definite eye symptoms related with it, too

docbones (6:02:42)
2 reported stomach nausea

smile70 (6:02:50)
a water imbalance can affect migraines also. Many backaches and even
ruptured discs can be helped by adequate water intake. what kind of eye
problems

docbones (6:03:06)
I listed them earlier

docbones (6:03:28)
burning,, hot feeling, sun too bright, pain stabbing in right eye, spots
before eyes,

smile70 (6:03:34)
it also says whiplash what happened there

docbones (6:03:48)
hey, whiplash is a great consideration!

marianne86 (6:03:54)
yes you did, what about the photophobia in this sun-reaching flower?

docbones (6:04:13)
yes, ocotillo MUST have full, 100% sunlight or else. It hates the shade

Astrotwo37 (6:04:19)
Have to go - thank you very much

docbones (6:05:03)
yeah, I have to go to. Shall we call a halt? You can always email me
at: docbones224@earthlink.net
we can do this again in another month?

smile70 (6:05:18)
so the photophobia is the opposite effect of the plants desire I bet it
will also work for dim vision then too if the right prover came along

docbones (6:05:28)
Thanks to all of you for coming, for taking time out of your busy
schedules hope to see you here again and we'll tackle another DOS!

ozjas57 (6:05:36)
thank you very much

Fawn87 (6:05:39)
thanks all

docbones (6:05:40)
smile, yes I find this to be true sometimes

cbwillis60 (6:05:41)
This has been fabulous - thank you !!

Fawn87 (6:05:45)
:)

Sindy75 (6:05:47)
Thanks Eileen!

chantal55 (6:05:53)
thanks this was fun and informative

marianne86 (6:05:58)
goodnight anyone!

smile70 (6:05:59)
thanks so much it's been great

docbones (6:06:10)
Please go see the Ocotillo proving in its entirety---I gave snippets
thanks Dave :-)

ozjas57 (6:06:10)
goodnight all

Lori45 (6:06:22)
Thanks! Looking forward to another...

araven79180 (6:06:29)
great, informative.Thanks.

sokeysunny67 (6:07:35)
Goodnight all ,Thanks

docbones (6:06:16)
hugs to all
