Two Stramonium stories
A 9 year old boy, very tall for his age with auburn hair, fair skin and an ethereal quality about him. Very heavy at birth, stuck in the birth canal for a considerable time, resulting in a degree of trauma for both mother and child. Right from his very first bath, he displayed extreme distress during contact with water.
At the age of 2 he stunned his parents by quite eloquently relating a story of 'going down with lots of other people in a big ship and drowning'. He repeated this story for over a year, when the memory suddenly faded and was replaced with regular out of body experiences, which he actually described as leaving his room in his bed, looking down on his house and room and having to fight something dark, evil and extremely powerful to regain entry into the safety of his environment. The almost nightly struggle became more and more intense. Needless to say, these experiences left him totally terrorised and his parents in despair.
He progressed to nightly wanderings through the house in an almost zombie-like state, not knowing who he or his parents were, talking in what appeared to be, a foreign language. These events occurred with clocklike periodicity, in fact you could set your watch by them - always at 11.30 p.m. Over a period of time, the child saw specialists who speculated on brain wave disorders, epilepsy, etc. with no conclusive evidence.
When he was older and able to describe more clearly the dark and evil force trying to attract him "to the other side" [of a chasm as he described it] he was taken to church and blessed with holy water. He was given a different room to sleep in, which eased the regularity of the incidents, but nothing would totally eliminate his suffering. Finally, at the age of 6, he was treated homoeopathically with a dose of Stramonium and as if by a sheer magic, the nightly assaults stopped. The allopaths mused that he had naturally outgrown his problems anyway..... Over the past couple of years, he has experienced several relapses, particularly when he has either undergone dental treatment or run a very high temperature. Each time, a repeat dose of the remedy has regained his equilibrium beautifully and he is a happy, balanced and bright little boy, not at all perturbed by the now only occasional attack on his psyche.
Case 2
A 5 year old girl is excessively bossy and loud - her voice rises to fever pitch for no particular reason; she can be heard screaming over the entire village and her mother, teacher and friends are not very impressed at all. She comes from a happy, stable family background and has two younger sisters. She enjoys school and is a very helpful, mothering type of child, with a dare-devil nature and no apparent reason for her behaviour. Further investigation revealed that her mother had a very traumatic experience during the 8th month of her pregnancy.
She was walking her pet dog when she was attacked by a Pitbull Terrier, who attempted to kill her little dog. The sheer terror of the situation left no room for thought about her physical condition and her unborn child, she grabbed a hunk of wood and lashed out at the Pitbull, kicking, hitting, trying to save her faithful companion.
She wanted to scream for help, but not a sound would pass her lips, she was literally dumbstruck by fear. Her guardian angels must have been out en masse, because somehow, this most vicious of dogs let go of her dog and instead of attempting to tear her to shreds instead, actually took off. She had bites on one foot and her little dog was badly mangled, but she was able to rush him to the vet and save him.
The next morning however, she went into labour and 3 days later, the little girl in question was born almost two months premature. So here we have a case of mother attacked by a dog, unable to scream, with the child experiencing in vitro trauma and since birth doing all the screaming. Stramonium has worked wonders on the child and the mother is seriously contemplating the same treatment.
